We really enjoyed our stay in Lamoura. The property is beautifully decorated and well appointed and there was a lot to do in the area, including running, cycling and swimming. The large garage was invaluable on rainy days for entertaining the kids and drying washing. My only gripe was the lack of transparency about linen hire, cleaning charges and the need for a 500 euro deposit, neither of which were mentioned in the listing, meaning I didn't bring a cheque book and had to sort it all out in cash. Not ideal and I now have more cash than I want. The owners should be up-front about these hidden charges. The owners were very pleasant and chatty.
The house was clean, well equipped and modern. It was in a perfect position to enjoy the mountains and lakes of the Jura. Guy and Liliane were friendly and very helpful, bringing us information about walks and cycle rides. It was a perfect holiday for our family and we would not hesitate to come again.
