Chebeague Island Inn Reviews
“The best parts about the stay was the beautiful view and the comfortable beds and pillows and a clean room that smelled wonderful. The bathrooms are shared with your floor, but they seem to be kept clean which is awesome so we didn’t mind at all. Unfortunately, service is cold and left much to be desired. We felt like a nuisance ordering cocktails and food at the bar and restaurant and had to find someone to take our order every time. Our room was not ready at 3pm check-in time. There was nobody at reception during check-out time. Service was slow, inattentive, and unfriendly. The hotel doesn’t compensate for parking on Route 1 or the CTC ferry ride to the hotel which I think would be a nice touch given the amount it costs to book a room with the Inn. The continental breakfast options were limited mainly to cold and old croissants and untoasted bagels (however it was free!). The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are pretty, and the building historic so maybe they don’t feel the need to up their hospitality game. But with some serious tweaks this place could be 5 star material.”
“An absolutely beautiful property and staff were incredibly kind and helpful! We had a late arrival and the two young gentlemen were waiting at the dock and they helped my sister and I with all our bags. The entire property was very clean and there were incredible views of the water and golf course. Looking forward to returning!”
“It’s a great place to get away from it all and enjoy beautiful views on the wrap around porch. The food is delicious. The place is laid back and quite lovely. I will be going back.”
