Churchill Guest House | House in Dover

Nicely furnished (Edwardian-style) historic building in relatively quiet part of Dover, conveniently close (15 mins walk) to ferry terminal. Greeted by friendly owner on arrival. Room (I stayed in Patricia) large and clean, with sitting area and tea/coffee. Cooked breakfast no longer an option, but self-service continental-style breakfast provided in fridge including wide variety of fresh fruit, croissants etc: ideal for early morning start. Self-catering possible in small communal kitchen, but pub 2 mins walk away was pleasant and good for dinner. Overall would return, and would recommend to others.

Absolutely loved the Churchill House, Room was clean and modern, this is a very old structure but very well done. Location was awesome in the middle of Dover. Alot to do very close to Dover Castle and Canterbury. Highly recommend staying here. kitchen well stocked, we enjoyed our two-night stay prior to our cruise. host was exceptional very accommodating and arranged a last-minute taxi to the ship. very well done

Churchill Guest House was the best first impression we had of the UK. After a long series of flights and delays coming into the home being greeted, (and insisted that they have our bags regardless how heavy they were). We couldnt have asked for a better stay. Alex set us up with a taxi to get to the cruise port, and was so helpful. Honestly if we come by Dover to stay again we'll be back here. We loved the property as well it was so cute and inviting.

Alex was lovely! Super kind, friendly, and helpful. The property was very well maintained, charming, and in a good location. The breakfast options were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Alex was a very accommodating and helpful host. The house is beautifully renovated. The kitchen is well-stocked with supplies for a continental breakfast. The location is close to Dover Castle and about 1/2 mile to the cliffs.

The host was available to greet us and show us around. the staff made us welcome and gave us tips on what to see and do. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast and snacks. They even booked a taxi for us when we left. Great place to stay! Close to everything.

Churchill House was located conveniently for me, nearby the sites I wanted to see and the place I returned to for supper. Breakfast was all I could ask for, just like home. I helped myself. It was a great stay.
