Summary: Comarca Las Liebres is a truly charming countryside hideaway on the outskirts of Colonia. Set amid beautiful rural scenery, it feels less like a hotel and more like staying in a private residence; calm, intimate, and thoughtfully run. The staff are friendly and warm, with Dioletxa in particular being exceptionally welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the surrounding countryside and down to the beach, which was a real highlight and a perfect way to experience the setting. The food is outstanding: fresh, seasonal, and elevated by produce coming directly from the hotel’s own kitchen garden. A wonderful over night stay.

Summary: We had a beautiful suite in a separate building from the main house. The food and the wine at the restaurant was terrific and it was nice to stay one night in Colonia and go sightseeing in the old town.

Summary: Comarca Las Liebres is a truly charming countryside hideaway on the outskirts of Colonia. Set amid beautiful rural scenery, it feels less like a hotel and more like staying in a private residence; calm, intimate, and thoughtfully run. The staff are friendly and warm, with Dioletxa in particular being exceptionally welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the surrounding countryside and down to the beach, which was a real highlight and a perfect way to experience the setting. The food is outstanding: fresh, seasonal, and elevated by produce coming directly from the hotel’s own kitchen garden. A wonderful over night stay.

Summary: A remarkable value. Highly recommend staying here if you're passing through Colonia. While it is a little bit outside the main town, you can readily call a cab when needed. The staff were super friendly and supportive throughout the entire stay. The on-site restaurant is one of the finer dining options in all of Colonia and worth a visit on its own.
