“My wife and I stayed in a Deluxe room and as we got out of the elevator, we were greeted by worn out carpets and a musty smell. The smell in the room was strong, and it looked worn out. Apparently, they have renovated rooms on the higher floors. Be mindful of where you stay.”

“The location is the best part of the property- it is not well maintained. Our room was not properly cleaned - the shower has mold, gum was behind the chair and the wallpaper was smeared with something. The elevators were also very slow in the morning with an average wait time of 15 minutes or more. The staff also seemed overwhelmed at the cafe with service very slow and tables rarely cleaned.”

“This is a wonderful Mariott with large comfortable rooms, a fantastic waterside location, and all sorts of conveniences. The biggest one being the waterside bar. We wanted to relax every night at that outside bar as it was the highlight of a very nice hotel.
But there's some negatives. They don't have enough staff - check in took twenty minutes and as far as I could tell this was constant - there was always a line. The concierge was there sporadically so it wasn't super easy to ask questions either.
Also, partway through the trip the outside bar was closed for a private event. I paid full price for the hotel and I find it frustrating to miss out on the best thing the hotel offers.
Finally, the elevator rush in the morning is real. Some people were waiting 10+ minutes to get a non-full elevator. This could be fixed by allowing a non-emergency exit stairway access but I didn't see that.”

“Got in late and although the staff was nice they indicated the kitchen was closed despite the signs that indicated there was 24 hour room service. Also toilets didn’t flush easily or well”

“Such a wonderful hotel on the water in Copenhagen. On the stop for the tourist buses. Near the Central train station. Convenient to many of the attractions. Just a wonderful place to stay. Splurge for a room with a water view. The huge windows make it worth it.”
