“This place is old, but the River is right there and we had bunnies, foxes and a skunk out in the field... Great fishing access, and picnic tables. Simple accommodations - but it had cable with a ton of channels, a working AC and it was a fair price for the accommodations. The staff had good recommendations for food at local restaurants (Hitchcock Tavern and Howard's Drive -In) and the proximity to the Quabbin was nice. We had a sports tournament in Amherst and this modest spot was suitable and it saved us some money over the hotels closer to our tournament. Not fancy, but solid.”

“It was a great place to rest our heads for the night. We arrived after 9pm and staff was ready and waiting - quick check in. Very quiet, very clean, comfortable beds. And they are pet friendly! Thank you!”

“Clean and comfortable room, very convenient to Salem Cross Inn. Price through Expedia was excellent. They are undergoing some con situation now, but did not impact our stay. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.”
