“Gorgeous old manor house converted into elegant en suite rooms. Furnishing exquisite with lovely oriental rugs. High quality towels and bathroom amenities but no complimentary shampoo or conditioner. Reservation was for 2 but they only gave us one bath towel and one hand towel. Getting in can be a challenge as there is a large metal gate and no obvious way of getting attention to get in. Once in, it was lovely but it is not in the main city, but in Villa ValMon--necessary to know if you are using a GPS to locate. In middle of city next to major highway but lovely grounds creating a peaceful oasis. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Staff helpful. We would stay again if in the area.”
