“Booked this hotel because of the reviews that we had read, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Absolutely fabulous. The renovations to the property have kept to the character of the building, wonderful. So relaxing. The owners are perfect hosts and dinner amazing”

“I really love this place. Second time here, just as good as ever. The balance of old world charm with modcons is quite special. Huge old fashioned room in the ancient farm building but modern bathroom attached. The real reason for coming though is dinner - in their beautiful courtyard restaurant. Simple but beautifully done classic Italian food served with charm and attention. Quiet at night. Generous and great value. Faultless. And a wonderful breakfast in the morning”

“What an amazing find. A little way outside of Mantova but a really beautiful old building with fantastic big and charming rooms and a lovely courtyard dining area - like being in the heart of the countryside. Stepping back into history but wiht all mod cons. Not to mention superb food.”
