Clean and comfortable, with lovely welcome basket and useful local information provided. Shower was good and hot, heating worked a treat and beautiful location. Only improvement would be a topper on the mattress and you could feel the springs and a shelf in the bathroom.
We were walking The Dales Way and arrived on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The staff at the pub were extremely welcoming and reserved us a table for dinner. The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy (underfloor heating), exactly what we needed after a long wet walk! The breakfast hamper was very welcome too.
Amazing trip away, the pub is outstanding and the huts behind were brilliant to stay in. There are no cooking facilities but we were aware and planned accordingly. The mattress was not the most comfortable we have slept on but still would return in a heartbeat, had a brilliant trip away for a birthday treat.
