“The room was clean enough, the bathroom mirror had splatters all over it, the bed spread was old and not sure how often it is laundered. I kept tripping over the rig on the floor,”

“This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Like an old fashioned motor inn that was updated, clean, and comfortable. I liked being able to park right outside the door. The room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bedding and decor made it feel like I was staying at a friend’s house and not a plain hotel room. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We spent a night at Cross Country Inn. Our room showed that great attention was paid by the management to decorating, maintenance and upkeep. Everything was clean and the bathroom fixtures and vanity seemed new. There were extra little touches everywhere that warmed our hearts. And the area around this property is all rural and very quiet. Very restorative. The reasons I subtracted a star were as follows. 1. The WiFi was very spotty. I do realize that this motel is in a rural area. That's part of the charm. But having WiFi that goes in and out can be a real nuisance in this age when we do so much of our business and life online. 2. As many upgrades as have been done here, I think it's time to figure out how to improve the number and placement of electrical outlets available, especially near the desk top--not just on the wall near the desk down by the floor. To the owners, the messages you left in the room blessed us greatly. Thank you.”

“Rooms are nice bedding was out dated and a little musty smelling. But for the price it worked very well !!”

“This place is a hidden gem. Room was very clean and modern with a great theme! no cut corners or cheap furnishings. Even the quilt and linens were good quality. Breakfast was light as advertised, but adequate. Coffee was plentiful, good, and hot. You are unlikely to ever beat this for the price! More like a B&B than a hotel.”

“I loved this place the first time I stayed there: price was great, clean, cozy. This time I noticed there was an extra $35 "Property Fee" on my receipt which was not included last year. This upped the price and made it more expensive than other places I have stayed in the area. I chose this mostly for the high rating and the low price, but will probably not stay there again, sadly.”
