Positive: All the members of staff were friendly, helpful and thoughtful, the team all seemed happy to work there. We moved rooms after the first night from the quiet side, facing the road which didn't get any sun to a corner room facing the carpark which was sunny all day. We booked for 12 days half board, to relax after touring round the cities, the breakfast was generally plentiful, and we had a late lunch, dinner wasn't until 20:00. The menu is set for the week then changes for the weekend. The cafe bar for the campsite is great, and there is a launderette on their site which was €3. The village is a great place to visit, bars are a good price and there are few museums and a lovely park.
Negative: It would have been nice to be able to relax in the grounds when the weather was hot. Unfortunately for us when the pool is closed so is the garden area. It would be good if the TV had Netflix.
Summary: Fabulous Good Value Hotel

Positive: Stayed here a few times now. Plenty of parking. Restaurant on site with the half board deal taken. Ideal touring stopover. Easy bus access to Salamanca for sight seeing.
Negative: Reception staff could better explain the evening meal regime. Having taken the evening meal (v friendly waiter) and signed it to my room I was challenged at reception checkout to produce a 'ticket', I now assume from the dining room. The meal clearly showed on their invoice screen so I was confused as to the issue. Following a bit of a stand off I was allowed to leave - albeit none the wiser as to the 'offence' committed. Disappointing.
Rooms can be a little stuffy, the ac just appears top recirculate air.

This is the 5th time we’ve stopped here overnight on our way to Andalucia. The staff at check in were exceptional, the rooms spacious and in a quiet location for a restful nights sleep. The breakfast is great, setting us up for our journey. If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, DO IT, you won’t be disappointed.
Negative:
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
Summary: Thoroughly enjoyable.

Positive:
Evening meal selection in cafeteria excellent, good value and taste. Breakfast also extensive. Balcony and freebees in bathroom a bonus. Easy to park right outside despite Booking.com saying there was no parking! Adjoining campsite good to walk round.
Negative:
Heat controller instructions not very clear.
Summary: Good food and value with the bonus of not having to drive into city.
