Summary: This is a B&B and not a hotel. I was in the superior room with a king and a twin. At check out they charged me extra for the twin although in the original booking it clearly said King and Twin, so I dont know where the extra charge came from. Water was not hot and I had to take a cold shower. Shower gel given was half used from previous occupants may be. I asked if there is laundry onsite and they insisted they will do it for me without quoting me the price and at the end added it to the bill. It wasn't a big amount but still, it would be nice to quote a price first. There are stairs at the property so you will need help with lugguage. This was pricier than staying at a hotel in Tunis and taking a 20 dinar ride to Sidi Bou Said.

Summary: The staff was so helpful, kind and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were clean and had great amenities. We did not use the pool but the patio and pool were very nice to sit out at and look at the sea. The beach nearby was a lot of fun and so beautiful with the cliffs over us.

Summary: First of all, I would like to thank Hela and Elya very much. They took such good care of us throughout our stay, we were very pleased. Dar Elyssa is a very nice place to choose in the Sidi Bou Said area. Our room was very comfortable, and we had delicious breakfasts every morning. It's a quiet, pleasant hotel close to everything. It's clean, and the staff are very kind and hospitable. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful first visit to Tunisia. It's a place we would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

Summary: Lovely place and amazing staff: welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you Noora, Miriam and Lamjed. The place is spotlessly clean and very well maintained, and across the street from a public beach (which would be more relevant in the summer, though !). A great breakfast spread! And in the evening, I was also given a ride to/from any dining option of my choice.
