Das Spritzenhaus  |  Hotel in Mainz-Bingen

We had the tower suite with the beautiful patio. The view was great but the suite itself could use a refresh.

Overall good stay… Check-in process was a little confusing as the building has a couple different doors. Parking was a challenge. We weren’t happy with housekeeping. The first day we were asked if we needed more towels. I said no but I didn’t realize housekeeping wouldn’t come at all that day. The second day housekeeping came but didn’t change our bed sheets. My son got a bloody nose and it was still the same sheet used for his bed. Breakfast was good, but we would have liked some fruit as well. Location was excellent, right next to a Christmas market and in the center of town. The hosts were very friendly.

Wonderful place to stay in Eltville!

The Spritzenhaus is a gem in the charming city of Eltville. The room was spacious and clean. The attention to detail and kind, personalized service by the owners made us feel special. It was a short, easy walk past half-timbered houses to the pedestrian area shops, the Rhine River, wine bars, and restaurants. There is much to explore in the town. We’ll be back, and look forward to staying at the Spritzenhaus again.

Room was small, bathroom very small, good for one person. Bed had a large pole next to it on the window side. You could not get out of bed on that side. The staff and breakfast made up for any room deficiencies. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order with very cheerful and helpful staff. Would stay again because of this.

Great location, beautiful town, well run, clean, and managed hotel. Room was spacious. Owner was friendly and accommodating with great service.

Das Spritzenhaus is nicely located in the center of town and made it easy to walk the historic streets and access to the river Rhine, which is one of our favorite place to relax. The proprietor (Marc) was an excellent host and the breakfast he served was made with high quality local products. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was outstanding and really individual! We‘ll come back for this.
