Deerfield Inn Reviews
“The motel was very clean. We could get clean towels, toilet paper and coffee when we needed with a code for the lobby. Even though the check in was online, we did meet the owner. She was very friendly, and made sure we had all we needed. The view from our room was beautiful as Lake Chatuge was across the road. We definitely will be going back.”

“This is an older property that has an overpowering smell of mildew or mold in the room. . My room had a dehumidifier and an air conditioner; the staff member turned on both. That’s just too much noise to sleep. They obviously have a moisture problem and should probably remove the carpet. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. The staff had to re-reset it after a storm, but it was still unreliable. Staff is gone at 7 PM. They leave a phone number, but who would bother for something like Wi-Fi. The location is up on the hill overlooking the lake, but also a busy road. There’s not much in the area nearby, which was fine with me. I just wanted to clean safe place to sleep. Unfortunately, this place was not conducive to a good night sleep. If mold and mildew odor doesn’t bother you. You’d probably be fine.”

“Clean room but the whole system is automated. There's no one to check you in at the desk you have to do everything with your phone.”

“We completely enjoyed our stay at Deerfield Inn. It is such a charming, small hotel that just says welcome. It was quiet, has a good location, and sitting outside looking out at the lake was a great way to relax.”
