“4 minute walk to the train station. Check in is at a different hotel right at the train station. Wait for the staff to walk you over to the room, it’s worth the wait. We tried to find it ourselves and got a bit confused both where the hotel entrance was and what floor our room was on.
The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were not great but we managed. The safe didn’t work but it wasn’t an issue for us.
There is no AC but the 2 fans in the room and a cool September evening made that ok.
Overall a good place to stay one night on a trip to or from the Bernina Express. We both were well tested after our stay.”

“The apartment was lovely. We were surprised how noisy the town was though, even at 11pm on a Monday night. Since it was hot, we had the windows open and the motorcycles and cars revving outside and running up and down the street was deafening. Not a place for light sleepers if it is warm outside!”

“The distance from the check in (hotel bernina) and the hotel room (design tirano) didn’t bothered us. Everything was amazing.”

“The staff was amazing at the parent hotel. We were even walked over to the other building by a young female staffer, which was very nice. We had a little bit of a hard time finding where to go once off the train. It is close and easy. You basically turn right and after 3 minutes walking, the Hotel Bernina is on your left, this is where you check in. The room... well, there was a statue of a giant Indian woman lying on a shelf in the bathroom! I put a tissue over her eyes! Each room has a different theme, ours was Indian. The room was nice, they had a robe and even hand lotion. Breakfast was great! They try hard there and it shows. ”
Children are welcome. rollaway/extra beds are not available. cribs (infant beds) are not available.
