Positive: Stunningly superb!!! This beautiful hidden gem Bradstone Grange is a perfectly peaceful retreat surrounded by green rolling meadows as far as the eye can see. Magnus the owner put us totally as ease when introducing Billy our New Zealand Huntaway to his gorgeous Doberman's Henry and Sara who are very well behaved and absolutely adorable. They played with Billy, who's not that great with other dogs as he's very anxious but these two were the perfect temperament for Billy. The accommodation was roomy and warm, comfortable with lots of generous personal additions like milk, bread, butter etc also the bathroom was will stocked! The views and the few days we stayed there have left a very peaceful mark on us, I can't rate this place high enough, it was a complete privilege to stay there and have all the freedom Magnus gave us to wander freely all over his land.... This definitely

From the minute we arrived we were greeted by two happy, beautiful Doggies, Sarah and Henry were so lovely and got on so well with our Retriever, as the apartment is an extention of the main farm house, Magnus the host is on site, he never bothered us and was always happy to answer any questions we had, with very good local knowledge and suggestions for day trips.
The area is stunning, surrounded by fields and woodland we were never short of new places to explore as well as being 30-40 min drive from Looe and other beaches.
The appartment was very spacious, clean and homely, it really did feel like you were in your own little cottage in the middle of nowhere, it was so peaceful.
It really was a dream easter weekend for us and everything we wanted and more.

Fabulous location (all single track roads, so be prepared!), with both Dartmoor and the coast within easy distance. Very spacious property, where we enjoyed the games, but spent most time in the gorgeous kitchen, sat at the table staring out the window watching the weather go by! The resident Doberman dogs were a great addition to our stay, got on well with our spaniel, and were a great welcoming committee each time we arrived home. Magnus is a lovely host, although has clearly had some horrendous guests, so can come across like a strict headmaster to begin with!
Negative:
Not really a dislike, but something to note. I’m a light sleeper and slept in the walk through bedroom above where the dogs sleep, so every time they barked at something (must be some animal that goes past about 3am), it would wake me up. My son in the main bedroom didn’t hear a thing…
