“I’m writing this review to make it clear to other people who see all the negative reviews. The DIA Layover is NOT a hotel! This is similar to a VRBO or AirBNB. I think this property gets a lot of negative reviews because it’s listed as a hotel and it’s not. The owner Paul has a very nice and spacious house (approx 5 bedrooms) and he rents out the rooms for people to stay. The house is very spacious, clean and Paul is very welcoming. Each bedroom has its own bed, tv and shower. My cousins and I had flights coming in at various times after mid night and could not check into our hotel until the next day. Paul gave us access to his entire house, including the kitchen and his WiFi. The house is located in a nice and safe location and there is free parking available in the driveway or on the block if needed. Staying at Paul’s residence was a great way to start of our Denver vacation! Thanks Paul for your kindness!!!”

“We did not realize that we had booked our stay at an actual home. I had tried calling a couple times to let them know we'd be arriving late. We got there about 9:30...they did not have us on their list for arrival but I had confirmation from Hotels.com. I am not sure where the mix up occurs but the host at DIA is very pleasant and will try everything he can to accommodate your every need! It's located in a residential area and we had our own bathroom plus any amenities you need are available somehow. As our first experience and it was very pleasant and cultural. I would definitely book again and spend more time in the area.”

“This is a house and rented rooms. I could hear the owners having conversations downstairs and the room was HOT. No fan no ac. Also please note the fine print. Taxes are NOT included on the listed price. They also overbook and told me that once they are full then no more guest. ”

“When I first arrived I was greeted by Florence, the host of the layover hotel with open arms! She gave me a tour and showed me to my room. The house is a home away from home, so nicely decorated and I immediately felt a sense of family. Every room was clean and comfortable and I felt right at home. Everything I needed to feel like home was provided and I was able to go 5 minutes up the road and buy groceries to cook at the house every meal. The price was the lowest price I’ve ever paid in this area and far surpassed my expectations. I found Florence to be an instant joy and a fast friend, I plan to stay in touch with her and stay there every time I visit my family in Denver. I highly recommend the layover hotel to anyone that reads this & will recommend them to everybody I know.”
