Disney Sequoia Lodge | Hotel in Coupvray, Ile-de-France

“The cast members at reception and in the parks were very helpful and nice. The pool (the only ammenity at the resort; without pool activities & games) was only open certain days and times. The room towels were very thin and one had a large hole in it. There is one elevator to take you from the Disney Village, parks, or train area uo to reception and room elevators. It is so small only one disabled person, or stroller, or 2 people with luggage can fit at a time. As I am disabled, this made it very hard when the parks close & everyone needs it at the same time. Minnie Mouse showed uo mid morning, which was very cool. The bar has a menu, but know the kitchen closes at 11pm so no HOT food after that. You cannot bring food i to the patks like you can in Florida or California. My biggeat complaint is with self laundry. For all 8 of the Disney resorts there are 2 washers & 2 dryers to share with ALL RESORT GUESTS. It's a 15 minutes walk to get to it. Then we waited in line 40 minutes for the next available machine & we needed 2. One of the dryers ate our token and there is no one to get help; you can't leave to get help or someone will come also needing to use the laundry. So many guests came and went wanting to use them during our 3 hours waiting, washing, drying & folding. They do have valet laundry service but it ranges per item between 2€ & 19+€. Too expensive to wash 5 days of clothes for 2 people.”

“The pictures of this hotel do not do this place justice. We stayed in July right at the start of the summer holidays. The hotel is situated a short walk from both the village and the parks. As someone who has visited disneyland Paris frequently and has even been an annual pass member I have never stayed in one of the main onsite Disney hotels (previous stays have been dream castle, magic circus, village nature and Davy Crockett) for us as a family of four his has been a game changer for location just to be able to come back to the hotel for a few hours in the hotter part of the day even outranks the ease of a Florida Disney park and we will definitely stay again.”

“Old hotel with small broken bathroom. Not enough signs to reception or lifts. Quite expensive just to sleep for the park.”

“Amazing, better than USA”

“We have loved our stay at Sequoia Lodge and would stay again. Yes the rooms are dated but they are getting refurbished now so that will soon be sorted. Our air con was great, the room was large and had a view over the lake (room 3130) We would happily stay again and to be honest I prefer the hotel more than Newport Bay!”

“Nice hotel but was disappointed at the lack of gluten free food. They had taken the time to clearly label everything that was vegan but didn’t bother to label gluten. I did get given a book in French which was difficult to understand. Ended up getting glutened so ended up with a rash, swollen stomach and digestion issues for the holiday. It’s a shame as it’s a nice hotel and in Disney Florida they are very knowledgeable about allergies and they cater for this, they even offer gluten free Mickey waffles. But not here sadly.”

“Our room 2116 was very dated. On enterting the room a strong musty odour was present, chips out of tv surround wood work, peeling to wallpaper border and toilet was stained. The beds were clean and very comfortable so as we were only staying one night we accepted the room as it was. If it was a longer stay I would have asked to be moved room.”

“Overall a lovely stay. Staff were helpful in the hotel. However we had an issue with the air conditioning and a delay in collecting our bags.”

“Lovely cosy lodge themed Disney hotel with very helpful staff. The food at Hunter's Grill (in-house buffet restaurant) was also excellent.”
