Our stay at Door Janna was pleasant, hotel is beautiful! Renovated top to bottom with a beautiful courtyard. The Pink Janna drink is also excellent! However, we had several issues that led us to not to feel like it was a five star experience. Location is excellent but it’s not easy to find unless you’re giving a driver a specific circle to be dropped at so you can walk the rest. No one met us there even after I messaged that we would be arriving early or offered to carry baggage through the souk or anything which they did at every other riad we stay at in Marrakech. Service around the hotel other than breakfast was intermittent and slow, I’d lower expectations. We requested laundry be sent out and then later found the laundry bag still sitting under the front desk at night and no one ever acknowledged it or sent it out.
