the "tower" was in pretty good condition and had gone through recent renovations. However, our AC (or cooler unit) was unusually Noisy. This led to 2 nights that were tough to sleep thru. Oh well. Such is life. Reasonable price for a decent accomodation.

I booked through Hotels.com. The first room I was given was on the ground floor. It smelled like mildew was growing under the carpet, the bathtub had dead crickets in it, and the A/C didn't work. I called the front desk and was given another room, which was acceptable, but the A/C stayed on freezing. It wasn't operable. I had no way of setting the temp, even though the numbers changed, but the temp did not. I had to turn it completely off when the cold became too much. I lowered my expectations.
