Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel | Hotel in Ship Bottom

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was unfortunately on the 1st floor so we didn’t have a view of the ocean because the dunes are so high. That was the only downside.

Nice hotel with beautiful views. Although the interior I feel can be updated, parking and beach access is great.

Needs updating and suggest ripping out the carpet for hardwood/tile floors. Dated decor and bath.

We loved our stay at drifting sands. It was a very nice hotel and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The location was great. We look forward to returning to this hotel

Semi-beach view. I had a room with king bed which was very uncomfortable and the pillows were awful - felt like cut pieces of foam. Carpeting in room felt “sticky” - kept shoes on or had my slippers on. I paid a lot per night and expected better accommodations. Would not stay at this hotel again. No dead bolt on the door that connected to an adjoining room. Staff at the front desk were hospitable.

It was a perfect location for our trip. It was very convenient having beach chairs and towels at the entrance of the beach. The staff was super helpful and loved the fresh coffee throughout the day. The beds are full size, not queen. The AC was a little loud, did wake me up. The staff did empty garba

Right on the ocean! Great views and the hotel provides beach chairs and towels along with the expensive beach pass! Steps from the ocean. Staff was amazing …reactive friendly and efficient

Perfect for what it is - a nice, clean hotel right on the beach with great beach access. And even though we didn't get an ocean facing room, the balconies on the 2nd floor do provide a view of the ocean. It was also very quiet, which we appreciated. Finally, we could walk everywhere - a CVS 4 blocks away, a small department store 2 blocks away, a Wawa convenience store 2 blocks away, and multiple restaurants ranging from coffee shops to fine dining within a 6 block radius.

So definitely not worth the money. Bathroom was dirty and not cleaned properly. The drain on the shower was broken and almost cut my foot in it. The carpeting was old and started bunching up/ very loose It needs to be replaced. The windows to face the ocean were dirty. Needed to be cleaned. Upon checking to see if I can get into the room a little early (2 pm as opposed to 4 pm) they said call. No one answered the phone. So I stopped by. They said I can check in early but pay an extra $30. No mention of that beforehand The tv malfunctioned because a guest in another room was trying to log into the streaming tv services. Interrupted my tv service several times At least the bed was comfortable and clean
