“It was a phenomenal stay for me! The staff is absolutely amazing and exceedingly helpful. The dinner was delicious though on the pricey side. But you get what you pay for! Breakfast (included in the cost) was also very good! Beds were comfortable, hot tub was spot on after doing the Killington Beast, and the game room had everything you could think of! Highly recommended, and will be going back next year for the race.
It is a beautiful building, had that mid 1800’s charm, was surprisingly quiet even with some areas of the floor creaking… giving it that character and comfortable nostalgic presence. Loved it!
Already recommended to other friends. The only concern was the bathroom in the room which was small though serviceable. Since it was built in the 1840’s there were no bathrooms originally in the rooms so they were added.

“We expected to have dinner at Echo Lake but the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Expedia didn’t give us the right information.
I am 83 and still walking without the aid of a cane or walker, but I found the stairs to be perilous. Seniors should only book the place if they can get a first floor room.

“This place felt very much like a Vermont Inn. The check in was friendly, we have to walk up 2 flights to our room. We got a suite and it was cozy but worked well for my son having his own room in the pull out. The decor leaned into the vermont vibe as well. The breastfast felt so welcoming and was a great way to start the day. (Wish it started earlier on Saturdays so we could make it the mountain when the lifts open and still enjoy our neal) Great value and I would come back. ”
