Eckstein | Hotel in Steglitz

“Unhelpful that reception was closed on arrival with nobody to explain the key box method of opening the box, The initial email from the hotel had gone straight to junk and had not internet to open emails on arrival. Total nightmare, No tea making facilities in the room, not even drinking water.”

“Upon arrival until the last day of our 5 day stay we were subjected to - unfriendly welcome - unfriendly service at breakfast - requests to pay for parking we did not use When checking in we said that we would pay for the full stay but not use our room on all nights and only need parking on the first night. During our stay we were afraid to go the small reception / breakfast room to avoid any altercations with the staff. The room was very clean but the lift was dirty and full of graffiti. However on the last day / breakfast one of the ladies actually did smile and was most friendly. We will not come back but hope the staff can learn to be at least a bit less unfriendly.”

“The room was perfect for a few days in Berlin. Basic but very clean, the only thing that was misaing was a kettle in the room. The lift was a bonus. The staff were very firendly and would consider staying again if i'm ever in Berlin. ”

“The place and area was quiet ”

“Really great breakfast. Basic accomodation”

“Good sized rooms, a 10 minute walk from Schlossstrasse U-Bahn station”

“The room was beautiful and we had an amazing view of the road’s activities. There is no air conditioning but with the windows open and the fan running it made for a nice breeze at night to sleep. The breakfast was great! Staff spoke little English.”

“The hotel is a good hotel for family traveling, specially the owner and his family are so friendly, we had a problem about the booking a 4 beds room but in the system they received 3 beds reservation, after they understand its our mistake, they helped us with one extra double bed room for free to stay relax. The breakfast was good, its calm and rooms are clean. The bathroom was clean and good shower place. Internet you need to mainly use it in the lobby or first floor in daytime but in night time internet also was OK in our room.”
