Emblaze Hotel | Hotel in Three Rivers

Room was clean and very concise for anyone that needed to work oit of the room. Looked like functional idea designs to best utilize space. Room was clean altho we had to ask for cups and soap. Breakfast was awful. Just packaged things like grits, breakfast bars, pop tarts... no toaster, no butter, no hot water to use of grits or oatmeal, we left to purchase food at convenience store next door.

Initial phone call was good and outside of the building looked great except there was literally one car in the entire hotel parking lot. One, for a hotel boasting 40+ rooms. That was red flag number one. The second came seconds later upon entering and nobody around. Not walking, behind the desk, no one anywhere except what appeared to be a maintenance man and he completely ignored us. We paced the hallway calling out for assistance for almost 10 minutes before a young lady dressed like she was at the skatepark more than work approached. She got us mostly checked in before another girl with even less clothes on (daisy dukes would be considered long compared to her shorts) came up and completely changed everything. They changed our room 3 times before we got a room. The whole place was empty except a handful of people who I couldn't tell whether they were employees or squatters. The room itself was nice and clean and it was nice to relax so no complaints there. But the next morning we had a similar issue of couldn't find anyone until a guy came out of a first floor room half asleep to help with checkout. And forget any sort of breakfast because except a couple of granola bars there was none. It seemed more like a squatters hostel than a legitimate hotel operation. Maybe (benefit of the doubt) they were remodeling, but considering we seemed to be the only paying customers I can't imagine saying they were truly open for business.

the rooms were very clean. The staff were good. the breakfast was nonexistant and the elevator broke one day.

I arrived late, the night person did not know how to check me in and then ultimately the owner or a manager of the property had to come and get me checked in after 30 minutes. When they put me on the first floor, pointing directly towards the gas station with lots of lights and trucks coming in and out I asked if it was possible for me to be put on the other side of the hotel because I didn’t want to be woken by the noise and lights. Then he proceeded to tell me that I should’ve picked that on Expedia and that there was no way to change it. I said, there is literally 5 cars in the parking lot. I asked to cancel the room, he explained that it was an impossible task and he got upset with me. Ultimately he some how was able to make the change when I asked to leave. Once in There was a very, very thin sheet on the bed and the room smelled as though it had not been opened in a while with no AC running. Disappointment.

Great

This is the kind of Hotel you just go to for sleep while traveling. The beds are not very comfortable, nor are the pillows and we found a roach in our room. The floors were also sticky. The whole vibe was a little off - property felt old and not well kept up. My only staff interaction was fine, just slow checking in while he put my ID into some kind of scanner.

Friendly staff, clean room comfortable next to loves, subway and McDonald’s

Stayed here for one night! The property is great! The hotel was decorated with Halloween stuff so cute! Staff was super sweet! Slept like a baby! Even more convenient there was a gas station and a McDonalds super close!
