Summary: I stayed here before when it was a 24 hour hotel. Beautiful, large rooms. Mine was completely updated, because of competition it is now room only and a 12 hour reception. But my suite was huge, cheap.beautiful balcony onto river and just a fantastic family space. Glass lift. I have stayed in portside which is nice but i loved my couple of nights in the Emerald.

Summary: Feels so run-down; staff are not as friendly as in other places. There was so much road noise in the room that I stayed in; considering I was there for 2 nights, I have stayed here about 6 times, & it gets worse every time I stay here, which is unfortunate, because the first time I stayed here, I was super impressed!

Summary: Very spacious hotel with large rooms but the decor was well behind the times and the overall maintenance of the complex was well overdue. The outside window windows were dirty and the interior air-conditioning unit was filthy other than this the staff were great the location was good.
