Maple Bottom Farm is owned by Vickie & Mike Baker and our children Lee & Clara. Our Farmhouse B&B is family operated with Vickie's mother, Susan Ansell. We are located on a dead end road in Dawson, PA , just minutes from Scottdale and Connellsville, and are less than an hour from Pittsburgh. We are close to Frank Llyod Wright's Fallingwater and Ohiopyle State Park.
Guests can enjoy a farm-stay or agri-tourism activity. Our goal is to provide families with a relaxing experience in our updated Farmhouse. Help us feed our calves and gathe ryour own eggs. Breakfast is simple and features many items grown right here on the farm. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us.
Our dairy consists of a DeLaval robotic milker and we process Golden Guernsey dairy products as part of Naturally Golden Family Farms, a group of local family farms working together to bring quality dairy products to our community.
We feature a sunflower field in the summer as well as acres of wildflowers. Once you get back, unwind on the balcony most units feature, or head down to the pool and fitness center for a change of scenery. Every suite comes with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, and cashless, contactless self check-in via the virtual front desk. A private bathroom, single-room air conditioning, and a full kitchen are featured in every 42–91 m² suite or studio. King beds furnish the 1-bedroom suites, while studios pair a queen with a sofa bed, and select studios add a soaking bathtub. Full toiletries are stocked throughout, and thanks to the in-unit washer and dryer, you’ll be able to travel light.
