Positive: This guesthouse is such a beautiful little gem in the heart of Maroni — a charming, incredibly picturesque village in Cyprus, surrounded by greenery and full of old-world character. The building itself is around 200 years old, and it is absolutely beautiful. You can really feel the history and atmosphere everywhere… although, of course, staying in a 200-year-old building comes with a few little quirks too.
The hosts were genuinely wonderful — warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. There’s a gorgeous common hall filled with books and games, a lovely swimming pool, and the breakfasts… honestly, absolutely amazing! Fresh, delicious and one of the highlights of our stay.
Our bed was extremely comfortable, and the surroundings were wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Overall, it’s a very special place and we really enjoyed our stay.
There were a couple of things that made our stay less comfortable. The gap under our room door was quite large — around 2 cm — so in the morning the smell and fumes from the kitchen downstairs came all the way up to our second-floor room during breakfast preparation.
Also, there is a washing machine right next to the room, and unfortunately it was very loud. We had asked for a note with specific hours for using it, but some guests still used the machine very early in the morning and late at night, which was quite disturbing.
That said, these are really the downsides of staying in such an old and charming building. Overall, we loved the place, the atmosphere, the hosts, the pool and especially those incredible breakfasts. A beautiful and memorable stay in a beautiful Cypriot village. ❤️

קיבלנו חדר גדול. בעלי הבית מאוד משתדלים לעזור בכל דבר ובכל שאלה. מקום מלא בצמחים ופרחים. ארוחת בוקר ענקית וטעימה. חניה צמודה חינם.
Negative:
המזרן במיטה בשבילי היה פחות נוח. אם רוצים סופרמרקת או מסעדה, מצריך נסיעה לכפר הסמוך. מזגן היה קצת חלש.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
The property is quiet, exceptionally clean, and beautifully combines traditional charm with modern touches. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel incredibly welcome. They were always available to answer any questions and even went the extra mile by providing the type of milk we prefer for breakfast, which was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large veranda and a jacuzzi, making it the perfect place to unwind. It was equipped with everything we needed, including a mini fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, milk, bottled water, sugar, shampoo, shower gel, and plenty of towels. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the TV had no issues.
The swimming pool area is beautiful, with a pool that's a great size for both relaxing and swimming. We enjoyed spending time there from early morning until late in the evening.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared on the spot, the portions were incredibly generous, and the quality was excellent.
Every part of the property is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly loved our time here and are already planning to return in the future.

Negative:
The only minor downside for us was the sleeping arrangements. The main mattress was acceptable but not particularly comfortable. As we were two adults and two children, we also used the sofa bed and the camper bed, both of which were quite uncomfortable for sleeping.
It's also worth noting that the property only serves breakfast, so there is no lunch or dinner available on-site. This wasn't a major issue, as there are plenty of nearby restaurants and delivery options, making it easy to find something to eat.
Similarly, after breakfast there isn't an option to purchase snacks or drinks at the property. If you need anything during the day, you'll need to order delivery or visit one of the nearby shops.

We stayed in the Esperanza room. It is very clean, spacious, has a big bedroom with a small balcony overlooking the patio and pool, and a big bathroom with a jacuzzi, a shower and a double sink. The breakfast is served in platters for each person and it is rich and tasty - there is no buffet. We really enjoyed our coffees next to the pool every morning and then swimming a bit under the Cyprus sun. Mrs Anthoula is very welcoming, very friendly and always there to help. Highly recommended.
Negative:
There is no lunch or dinner option at the hotel and because Maroni is a small village, there are not many food options around. There is no kitchenette as well so no option to cook, but it didn't really matter to us.

We had a great time. The beds are very comfortable and the place is quiet. The hosts are very friendly and eager to help with any problem, even with the battery of our car that didn’t work. The breakfast is rich and excellent. The pool is lovely and relatively big.
Negative:
The showers in both of our rooms didn’t work well. Very weak current and tendency flood and plugging issues. The hosts are aware. It needs to be fixed.

The owners were very helpful and polite. Accommodated us perfectly. The breakfast is huge and delicious! The pool and the room were really clean as well. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place and want to relax. We will definitely be coming again!

Breakfast was very good and staff nice and friendly. Very clean in all areas. Bedroom very big with good bathroom. Good size bed (but hard mattress). Enjoyed the swimming pool which was very clean and warm. Though I didn't drive, there is a good size car park available to park right next to the property.
Negative:
The only thing I didn't like was the bed. A little to hard and uncomfortable mattress for me. Pillows were very thin. Prefer softer mattress and bigger pillows. So the bed wasn't much comfort for the head or the back.
Summary: Nice and basic hotel to stay for a few days and I would recommend to people
