Esperanza Villas | Apartment in El Nido, Mimaropa

Positive: The place is just BEAUTIFUL. We have been to many villas in the Philippines before, but Esperanza Villas, you can tell from just the choices of furniture, design and even the utensils in the kitchen, that it was designed and decorated with such love and excellent taste! It's surrounded by greenery, in a quiet part of the village in El Nido, yet it's just a short tuktuk ride away from the beaches of Lio and the town, and everything El Nido has to offer. And the staff!!! Wow, they treated us like family, looking after our needs so well. We had our little slice of heaven, with the space all to ourselves (the garden, pool and everything is all private, behind our own entrance door), and everything we needed was on hand. The kinds of utensils in the kitchen aren't your basic stuff--they even have measuring spoons for the serious cook! We were also delightfully surprised by some free breakfast items and fresh fruits waiting for us in the kitchen! This property is brand new, and so well cared for. We would love to be back next time we have the chance to get away! It is truly an escape.

Positive: It's really a picturesque place. I did a quick stay there with my wife and every photo I took of her looked great because it's got a cool style and you can tell they really thought about the details. It was also super relaxing and I found myself not wanting to go island hopping and just lounge around. I was also surprised just how close it was to the airport. Getting there was so convenient.

Positive: The design was fantastic--so, so luxurious and every detail thought through. It's not your standard villa that tries to save on cost on cheap finishings--the ceilings were gorgeous with all those wooden sticks that were carefully laid out, and those lamps with colorful weaves was just... wow! For anyone wanting a sense of luxury, care and attention to detail, Esperanza Villas is at the very top. The whole villa is also so spacious, with our own garden and pool. Because it's in the village surrounded still by so much greenery, the whole place feels close to nature and its peaceful (we saw beautiful birds, butterflies, dragonflies regularly visiting us while we lounged on the deck!). And the staff, especially Liberty and Sandy, were just outstanding. They went out of their way to look after our needs, yet we had all the privacy we wanted. And all of this is so close to everywhere we wanted to go.

Positive: My partner and I stayed here for a getaway in El Nido and it was honestly one of the most beautiful, thoughtfully put-together places we've ever stayed. Every detail felt curated from the accommodation itself to the little touches that showed real care. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. What made it truly special was the privacy. Our own pool, our own quiet, beautifully designed space in the heart of nature that felt completely ours. And yet we were only a few minutes from the beach and the village if we wanted to step out and soak up the local vibe. The best of both worlds, total seclusion when we wanted it, easy access when we didn't. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout. It was clear, easy, no stress organising anything before or during our stay. We're already thinking about coming back, maybe next time with family. Highly, highly recommend.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here! The place is beautiful, very well designed, and you can really tell that every detail was thoughtfully considered. From the furniture and décor to the fully equipped kitchen and cooking essentials, everything feels carefully chosen and very well done. Even the little details feel premium—from the linens and sheets to the towels and other amenities. It really feels like a lot of thought and care went into making the place both beautiful and comfortable. It also has a lovely view of Cadlao Mountain and is tucked away in such a peaceful area, which we really enjoyed. You feel far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but it’s still very convenient—around 10 minutes from Lio Beach and the airport, and about 15 minutes from El Nido town. What we especially appreciated was how family-friendly the place is. If you’re traveling with kids, they’ve really thought of everything—from a high chair and pack and play to toys and children’s books. These little touches made traveling with a child so much easier and made us feel very welcome as a family. Another nice touch is that you can order breakfast and have it delivered straight to your villa, which made our mornings so easy and relaxing. It was especially convenient when traveling with a little one and meant we could enjoy a slow breakfast without having to head out first thing in the morning. The villa is beautifully designed, comfortable, and has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. We loved coming back to such a peaceful and beautiful space after a day of exploring El Nido. Would definitely recommend this place, especially for families or anyone looking for a beautiful, thoughtfully designed and relaxing stay that still feels close to everything. We would happily stay here again!
