Our rustic "Girasole" is located in Milo, on the slopes of Etna between unspoiled nature and under the shadow of majestic chestnut trees, not far from the paths that lead to Etna, from the city of Catania and from the beautiful Taormina.
The cottage is the result of a skilful restoration which brought into vogue from an old rural house with millstone, a house with the warmth typical of historic Sicilian houses. It is structured on two levels and is fully furnished, with a living room kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dishes, TV, climate, washing machine, electric oven, wi-fi in the common areas, large outdoor areas equipped with barbecue and table garden, free parking space inside the property. Magnificent is the landscape that can be admired from the rustic, looks like a terrace between the sea and the mountains, between the majestic Mount Etna which is there with its dominant presence, and the sea that in the infinite horizon seems a glitter of golden stars.
The cottage is part of a vast property, where fruit trees, a small vineyard, leafy centuries-old chestnut trees can be found under which you can stop during your walks; scattered among nature there are three holiday homes, each of which has a private outdoor area, and a newly built swimming pool shared with the other guests from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of both Etna and the coast. There are two large solarium areas equipped with beds and games for children, wifi.
Milo is a small Etna village located 750 meters above the sea, every year it hosts gastronomic and sporting initiatives such as the ViniMilo in September, the Etna Marathon Mtb, and is full of typical cuisine restaurants; it is the ideal base for spending a holiday teaches trekking and skiing on Etna, relaxation, culture and historical cities, discovering the beauties of Eastern Sicily such as Taormina, Naxos, Le Gole, Catania, Siracusa.
