The space itself is beautiful with a nice freshly new model, kitchen and bathroom. Location was great. There were just a few issues: 1- the unit itself is attached to a main house. That’s not an issue, but they had a door connected to the main house and there was only a lock from their end. I had no way of locking it from my end and that made me uneasy because I don’t know who’s behind that door.2-the shower was too small, there was no space due to a seat built-in3- there was a space heater that we had to use and due to the space heater we couldn’t get the temperature right who is either too cold or too hot and we had to unplug the space heater from the bedroom and take it to the bathroom. Otherwise it was too cold to take a shower. 4-the water was either scolding, hot or freezing cold, and it was hard to adjust5-on the very last night of the homeowner must’ve came back from being away, and we can hear them and the dog. Throughout the night, I can hear the dog playing with a squeaky toy, as if it was right outside the door, I even heard it chewing on a bone.6- and if I have to add one more thing, it would probably be the fact that I would prefer white towels and white sheets, especially being a rental because I wanna make sure what I’m using is clean

This charming rental was in the back half of a little pink house on the corner of two residential streets, one of which is actually a little dead end. It makes for a lovely and quiet stay. The host supplies a lot of soaps, some basic seasonings for cooking, and a very generous amount of cookware.If you don't feel like driving OR cooking, there is an excellent Italian place called Pia's out by Ecorse, the main road, that I recommend highly.Host does have a (very sweet) Shiba that gets excited and barks sometimes from the front half of the house when you get back from going out. I don't mind this as I think she's adorable AND that the barking likely deters potential troublemakers, not that I saw any that week.

Was nice, little smaller than we expected. Host would promptly respond, very close in proximity.

This VRBO suited our needs well. The location was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet despite the train whistles, which we liked hearing.We enjoyed the outside seating, comfortable bed and nice bathroom.Our host answered our question readily.

My visit was peaceful and serene.

Smaller than expected but still worth renting

Kathy is a super host. Her lovely place is in a great location, safe neighborhood, and very quite.

We can't say enough good things about our stay! Kathy and Lilly were the BEST HOSTS, always willing and ready to assist with anything. We felt so SAFE we didn't even lock our door for 3 days straight. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, the place itself is just PERFECT!!! FIVE stars does not seem adequate! Thank YOU for a WONDERFUL visit with Auntie!

Had a great stay. Very quiet neighborhood , parking and access to everything. The bathroom is a gorgeous oasis. Kitchen has all you need but dont expect to be cooking 7 vourse meals. Overall excellent would recommend
