“This hotel and staff are WONDERFUL! We booked very last minute and got a decent rate compared to other resorts in the area. Frankie, the hotel manager went above and beyond to make sure our first stay and visit to the Bahamas was memorable. She gave us great advice on getting around, where to eat and events going on. Lattitude is the restaurant on site and the meals were delicious and reasonably priced. There was something on the menu for everyone and if you didn't see what you wanted, they were willing to make every effort to accomodate your request. We had come in from a sailboat after 14 days and had a "boat load" of laundry which they offered to do for a small fee. The waterfront location offers incredible views of the harbor and a beautiful sandy white beach and a dingy dock for sailors to come in and enjoy a cocktail, swim and good time. The resort is about 12 blocks to downtown Georgetown and only 20 minutes from the airport. When we could not get a cab, staff drove us downtown. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, though the mattress is on a wood frame which was a bit squeaky. All in all, this was a great value, great experience and we would absolutely go back and stay - in fact, I'm already planning a "sisters" retreat for this Fall.
