When we arrived we were told that our oldest daughter (13) was too old for the room we booked through hotels.com. But, as I said to the receptionist, we did fill in her correct age when booking. It didn’t matter, she said so they charged us 25 euros extra. She was quite rude. The room was ok, but the extra beds for the kids was not very comfortable. The pool was ok, but very few sun loungers, so we had nowhere to sit. But the pool shut at 18:00 anyway which was a bit strange in the middle of summer. The breakfast was ok, not more than that.
We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay! We weren't expecting to stay in L'Ampolla but are very glad we did! Our sea view provided amazing views!! The room was very nice and spacious! Only issue with the room was there was quite a lot of bird droppings on the window. We were very close to a wonderful beach and we went on a couple great hikes along the Mediterranean!
