Positive:
I booked Fitzpatricks Inn because it was a heritage property. The room was very nice and looked out over the beautiful garden - at least 6 potoroos were hoping around and some very attractive chooks joined them. It was a delightful sight. Wonderful shower in a modern bathroom. Location was good - opposite the police station and a short walk to the Hub Cafe and IGA.
Negative:
I didn't see another human being!! There was no-one on site and as I was travelling alone I felt a little uneasy. The next morning I didn't see anyone again. Also I thought the accommodation was in the lovely old building but the rooms are at the back of the property in a timber building Attached to the main building. Also lighting was an issue and I left a written note for management so that the problem can be rectified.
Summary: A little disappointing!

Nice little hotel room at the back of the building. Good for an overnight stay.

There was a possum on the roof several times in the night which was very loud.
Summary: Nice, clean simple motel room.

Positive:
Good location for what we required. Parking near room was handy. Bathroom freshly renovated and really nice. Great water pressure and temperature. Good size TV with good reception. Room overall decent enough size. Price was probably fair.
Negative:
Plates, bowls, cups etc were dirty. Wasn't expecting the 2nd kids bed to be a mattress on the floor. Bedding itself quite old and dated.
Summary: Nice place but some small issues.
