“We wanted to find a pub with good food and close to Rutland waters to go biking. We stayed at the Fox and Hounds in Exton for 2 nights. It is situated next to a beautiful grassy square of big, mature trees. Big, safe parking area. The pub area is gorgeous, lovely big fireplaces, variety of seating. The dining room is really beautiful, full of character and the food is absolutely delicious. This is all down to the publican’s lovely Greek wife who is also the chef. Our bedroom (no3) was really lovely, 4 poster bed, ENORMOUS bathroom with lashings of hot water and lovely smellies. Really comfy bed, soft pillows ( very important) and Egyptian cotton sheets. We stayed two nights and would highly recommend this beautiful pub as a place to stay. Nicky and David”
