Positive: We booked a room with lake view and were not disappointed as the balcony overlooked the waterfront. We only stayed one night and it was a little to cold to benefit from the hotel pool or the rooftop terrace. The location is outside the village so access by car is preferred (parking available at no charge), although there is a ferry stop at the hotel. The restaurant food at lunch was excellent, but very busy as we stayed on a public holiday.
Negative: Decoration of the room is pleasant, although the style is a little dated.
Summary: Excellent location, good restaurant and very friendly staff.

Positive:
Great location, helpful staff and lovely food.
Negative:
Morning room cleans were ok, often forgot to top up tea/coffee, scooted around the room, did not change towels when left on the floor. Other than this, all other staff were helpful, the restaurant was good and the location...stunning.
Summary: Great stay, will definitely be back.

Positive:
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast buffet. The lakeside views were beautiful, the hotel has a top location. The staff were lovely.
Negative:
The fabric of the building (e.g. rough plasterwork in the corridors and some rough edges) let down the general look of the hotel. Nothing to deter us from going again though! Also full of Brits, which we hadn't been expecting.
