Golden Star | Hotel in Hradcany, Prague

Golden Star is a Hotel in Hradcany, set in an impressive Baroque building below Prague Castle. From here, you can take in wide views across the Old Town and Lesser Town, with Prague Castle just a 5-minute walk away. Old Town and Charles Bridge are also within 15 minutes on foot, so the stay places some of the city’s most familiar sights within an easy day of walking. Inside, the rooms pair designer furniture with individually controlled air conditioning, free WiFi, a satellite flat-screen TV, and modern bathrooms with a bathtub or shower. A minibar, hairdryer, and views toward the Lesser Town, the Royal Route, Prague Castle, or the Old Town give each room a practical, polished feel. The building’s character is part of the experience too. Reconstructed in 2016, Golden Star keeps a 270-year-old staircase and richly decorated ceilings, while the restaurant sits beneath an historic vaulted ceiling. Breakfast is served daily, and the property also offers a bar, parking, accessibility, transportation and shuttle services, laundry, and security features for a smoother stay. In Prague, the setting works well for travelers who want to move easily between Hradcany and the historic center on foot. With public spaces, dining, and guest services on hand, Golden Star feels grounded in the city’s rhythm while staying close to the landmarks that shape a memorable visit.
