“Only stayed for the night, but it was clean and quiet and functional. Rooms were a little tired decor wise if you are concerned about having the best appearance. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Bar and food prices a little on the higher side. Didn't check the pool facilities as you only have a limited time where they are free to guests. No noise from the motorway which is in close location.”

“We went out at for nine hours returning 9ish, room was not serviced. There was no do not disturb on the door. I believe it is being refurbished and it does need it. Spa fan on all day from 7 am to 9 pm so constant background noise”

“Clean rooms, good facilities, good value”

“We booked a superior double at short notice. Following the recent heat wave it was very hot in the room. It was upstairs above restaurant. The room was a mix of old stuff and new. Two two seater sofas looked less than a year old. Other furniture was old but functional. Bed was comfy and bedding and towels decent. Tea coffee facility good. Hair drier was not working. Edging on a side table loose. There was a fridge unit in a cupboard. Room just needs a bit tlc really and was still good value. Spa facility made up for any room shortcomings. At time of stay access to the spa facility is complementary at the following times. 7am till 9am and 17:30 till 20:30 every day and that was sufficient. There is a charge to use facilities outside of those times. There are 2 saunas, one steam room two foot spa, a rather nice tiled Jacuzzi that is open to the sky. A swimming pool and two outside complete Jacuzzi units with pre formed seats for 4 persons each but yo could probably fit 6 people in the size. They are in a fenced off area and there are plenty of loungers both inside and out. I was quite impressed with the spa facilities and would return. Breakfast was buffet style and was quite nice too. It's a wedding type venue and there were two wedding parties on at time of our visit. I would return and stay again this hotel to use the excellent spa facility. We didn't get any treatments so ?don't know what they were like.”
