Comfortable Lake Gaston home perfect for family gatherings. This house is gorgeous! Professionally decorated and well maintained. Main level has well appointed kitchen, breakfast nook, family room with large sectional and tv, dining room, sunroom and great screened porch, 1/2 bath, master suite with king bed, tv, private bath and a guest room with queen bed. Second floor has a full bath and two large rooms one with 1 queen and 2 full xl and tv, the other with 3 twins and tv. Basement has a bunk room with two sets of twin bunk beds, a summer kitchen, den with tv and second master suite with private bath and queen bed and tv, an outdoor kitchen and covered patio. There is a large sun lover's sun deck, a boat dock with an area to tie off your boat,, fire pit with chairs, kayaks, corn hole, giant connect four , ping pong table and other games for your family's enjoyment.

“Wish I could do a two part review. First and foremost the house is beautiful and fit our family perfectly. We loved the beautiful boathouse and the screened porch in the mornings and evenings was key. There was quirky electrical switches - spaced around the house which took time to figure out. On two of the floors other bedrooms have to share the master bathroom which was strange and something I didn't notice in the overview. When we had issues such as clogged plumbing, the owner did send out somebody immediately which was great. The part of this rental process that didn't go well was booking it and the manager getting back to us and I am still confused as if I was talking to a property manager or to the owner. I think the emails booking the property was the manager and while I was at the property the text messaging was the owner. Anyway, if you like immediate responses like within a day, this is not the place for you. Sometimes it took a week for a response sometimes 2 days or sometimes not at all. I have never had an issue like that before. I even had to contact HomeAway at one point cause I wasn't hearing back about 2 weeks before our rental time. When we were at the rental and had to text, we got immediate responses most of the time. So all in all, a wonderful house, just a little disorganized trying to book it and get information. When you are booking a house for this many people, I like to be confident that I have the home booked and like to get quick responses. So if you are ok with waiting on responses, it will be fine for you. Beautiful, clean house and the pool was an extra treat for the kids. And we were happy the owner let us use the boat lift.”
“Hydro Therapy is aptly named. It was perfect for our family of 12. It is a nice, relatively quiet location and the pier and boat slip are set back and partially protected from heavy boat wakes. We all hope to be able to return next year. Although the pool was being repaired, we were offered a partial refund to compensate.”
