Grano de Oro Hotel places you in San Bosco, in central San José, with the city’s main sights close enough for an easy walk. From here, you can spend the day moving between museums, theaters, and the rhythm of downtown streets, then return to a Hotel that feels composed and quiet once you step inside. Juan Santamaria International Airport is also a 15-minute drive away, which makes arriving and leaving straightforward.Inside, the rooms pair air conditioning with a warm wood finish, vaulted ceilings, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Thoughtful details like plush linens, free toiletries, and a coffee maker make the space feel settled from the start, while some rooms also offer a balcony or terrace where available. Free Wi-Fi and free parking add practical ease to a stay that is otherwise defined by comfort and careful design. The Hotel’s restaurant is a clear centerpiece, serving Costa Rican and European dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a bar for wine and spirits after the day winds down. You can also make use of massage services, a rooftop garden, and tour desk support for trips to museums, theaters, and coffee plantations. In San Bosco, the stay feels connected to the city, but measured, with an urban calm that lingers after you head back in.

“Nice Hotel in an old building - beautiful. We had a room with little garden and fountain (which you can switch off). Restaurant is also beautiful - food was great. I also had a treatment that was worth having it - 90 minutes relaxing full body - I liked it a lot.”
