Summary: For a relatively "affordable" ($380!!!) place to stay for one night during the highly in-demand Labor Day weekend on the East End of Long Island, the Greenview Inn was the closest we could get to what we were looking for: A clean bed to lay our heads at the end of a busy wedding reception. Thank goodness we were able to pay with OneKey Cash.
The room was relatively clean, and appeared to have been recently renovated. The sheets felt slightly damp, perhaps from humidity, perhaps because they had been insufficiently dried during laundering. Additionally, there were a couple of small flies buzzing about as we tried to get to bed.
We were on the first floor, so privacy and noise mitigation were a key concern. The thin curtains barely did the job of covering the front windows, and had to be jury-rigged to ensure that the air conditioner didn't blow them away from the window. Heavier curtains set within the window frame would be a nice upgrade.
We did not make much use of any amenities on the premises, so we cannot speak to any on-site coffee or breakfast option. We did appreciate the property's beautiful vista on the Peconic River however. The property's dock is sorely in need of repair or removal, but the waterfront appears to be an unrecognized asset for the property. There should be kayaks/canoes available for guests whether for free or by rental.
All in all, grateful for a relatively clean and quiet place to stay the night, but there is absolutely room for improvement.

Summary: This looks like a motel from the outside but don't let that fool you. It's actually a beautifully done property inside the rooms. Very chic, new and modern features. I would definitely stay again and again

Summary: The hotel was disappointing overall. You could hear almost everything from the rooms next door, which made it difficult to relax and get a good night’s sleep. There is also no gym, which was surprising considering how expensive the hotel is. For the price, I expected much better amenities, service, and overall value.

Summary: Our 2 night stay at this lodging was overall a very good experience. The room was very clean as was the rest of the property. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout or stay. The Wi-Fi worked great. The only remark that I wish to make is the bathroom in our room was kind of cramped but was clean and modernized, And YES, I would stay there again.

Summary: This place is overall a great option to stay—close enough to drive to the Hamptons, or stay near Riverhead. As other reviews have mentioned, it seems that the property is under new ownership and is being completely renovated. Our room was fully renovated, clean, and cozy. The lobby was renovated as well. There’s a nice pickleball court that just opened, but I never got a chance to use it.
That said, there are still some things that could be improved (if they aren’t already in the process of doing so):
The bed pillows were flat and we only had 2 for a king-sized bed, but I asked for more and they brought them directly to our room. The bed linens were decent though. The bath towels seemed to be leftover from the previous management, because none of them matched. Depending on the towels we received for the day, some were nice and others reminded me of thin hotel pool towels. The walk-in shower (which is tiled beautifully!) didn’t have any sort of lip on the floor to catch excess water that pooled up by the shower entrance, so we needed to place towels on the floor for this purpose.
With that in mind, I recommend this place and would stay here again. I wish some things were better, but they may just be a work in progress. I found the motel layout to be very convenient for packing stuff in the car to go to the beach right outside the door. It was a 4.5/5 star experience, and for the price, you can’t beat it. At the end of the day, no hotel room is perfect.

Summary: Overall cute clean property way below the Hamptons prices. I liked the motel style parking outside your door, and staff let us check in early. I thought there would be a coffee maker in the room which there wasn't ...but breakfast was included which it said it wasn't so that balanced out. Only thing is I requested a quiet room and we got one right on the highway which was pretty loud. Otherwise good renovation and good sized room.
