Grey Goose Motel | Hotel in Castor, Alberta

“always pleasant to stay here”

“Old and musty. Couldn't get the TV to work. Breakfast was a choice of toast or cereal.”

“Nice clean and basic room at a very fair nightly rate. I didn't need anything fancy or expensive and this room met my needs and expectations perfectly for this stay. I have stayed here in the past and I would very likely stay again in the future.”

“Old, dated building, some repairs left undone. Opening and locking door with key nearly impossible. Strong, musty smell from sink drain. Breakfast was toast and old looking boxes of cereal. Supplies in check in and confectionery area all looked very old and dusty.”

“clean room helpful staff”

“Good”

“It was fine for the one night I stayed. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the microwave and mini fridge were appreciated. I wasn't given a wifi password at check-in, and I forgot to ask. I also wasn't told where the breakfast could be found, and I never did find the room. The check-in office is around the corner from the cannabis store, but I couldn't see a room where they would serve breakfast. The biggest annoyance and main reason for the rating is the boxelder bugs. They don't bite or sting and are similar to moths, which are attracted to light. They were all over the room. Dead and alive. If I need to return to the area, I will stay somewhere else.”

“Its outdated, but clean. The beds were comfortable, lots of hot water and water pressure. Staff was very friendly. Check in was super fast and easy. ”

“For what it is… it is a reasonable stay, been a few times and most likely I’ll be back. Not much to do in the winter there, summer was a more enjoyable time. The staff is always pleasant and happy to see you, if you need anything they are more than happy to help.”
