I chose this hotel based on location. It is right next to the Port Royal RER station which will take you directly to the airport. I was only staying in the city one night before flying out. I did not realize there was no air conditioning when I booked it and I was there during the heat wave, June 2026. In addition to no heat, the windows faced west and the sun doesn’t set until 10pm, so it was very hot in the room. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful and kind, and the location was great!
Close to many shops, parks restaurants and the trains. The hotel is beautiful but with the heat wave, the lack of air conditioning was unbearable. After the sun set, we were able to open the windows for a slight breeze.
We would definitely stay there again. There are just a few things you might want to know. The room itself is very small. There is no air conditioning either. That said, the room was very clean and they so maid service every day. The lobby has a really nice breakfast area. We chose to eat at restaurants only once a day. At night, we’d have snacks, and the staff always set up a table for us to use. We had utensils also. There is also a nice couch and chairs to relax on when you’re just killing time. The location is adjacent to the metro, which makes getting around Paris really easy. If you want a walk, take a short 30 minute walk, and you’ll be at Saint-Chapelle and Notre Dame. The walk is peaceful and delightful. You can stop at any number of restaurants and cafe along the way. Finally, I want to let you know about the staff. They were all very professional and courteous. We were always greeted with a smile and a “how was your day?” They took care of our needs for our evening snack. They even made some phone calls for us (we don’t speak French), to help us with other plans. I can’t recommend them enough.
