Everything was fine as always
I had a very disappointing experience at the Hampton Inn Cranbury. We booked a 3-night stay but ended up checking out after only 2 nights because our room was never cleaned. After noticing that housekeeping had not serviced our room, we spoke with the front desk. They assured us that he would notify housekeeping and that our room would be cleaned while we were out. We left and returned around 6:00 PM, only to find that the room had still not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk, but they were unable to reach the manager. Since we were checking out early due to the lack of housekeeping service, we requested a refund for the unused night. Our request was denied. We were not offered another room or any meaningful solution. Instead, we were simply offered clean towels and fresh sheets, which did not address the issue. It is my understanding that rooms are supposed to be cleaned every other day, yet our room went two days without any housekeeping service despite multiple requests. The lack of customer service, poor communication, and unwillingness to resolve the problem made for a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel based on my experience.
