Hampton Inn Southlake | Hotel in Morrow

This location is an old Hampton Inn. The toilets were very, very low. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. However, the staff was great, the hotel upkeep was good, it just didn’t have the modern look of the Hampton Inns I’ve frequented.

This Hampton Inn is not as modern as the ones I have stayed in. The lady who checked me in was very nice. The room was ok. My only complaint is the toilet seat is too low. I felt like I was using a child’s toilet. Unfortunately, that is the case in all of the rooms. I hope they will consider this should they consider renovating this hotel.

The place was quiet and clean and the breakfast was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and detailed for our needs and comfortable.

Breakfast was gone fast, did not eat the 3 days we were there. Busy hotel.

Hotel was ok - a little older and starting to show . Staff we encountered were friendly . Breakfast wasn’t anything to brag about . Sausage seemed like it was left over from days before , nothing really fresh . I would rate breakfast at a 5 at best . Parking was challenging - they allow semi trucks to park in the front lot taking up multiple spaces for regular cars . I think the main issue I had with our stay was We had a situation our first night with one of my grandchildren and we needed the bedding changed . I spoke directly to the house keeping that we’re doing rooms that morning , she said they would take care of it . We left for the day - came back late that night , nothing done . Honestly just let it go to see if maybe next day it would be taken care of . Nope . Had to pull a sheet and thin cover to use on the bed for the rest of our stay . In fact we had zero service in our room for three days . No towels no nothing . Now to be fair I’m not sure if they were supposed to service the room at all during our stay or not. I’m not sure of what the hotel policy is. But when I asked directly to one of the staff and she tells me they would take care of it, especially when they’re standing right outside my room I would assume it would be taken care of, but it wasn’t Now at the end of the day , i’m not a review kind of guy or one to really complain too much but I think a honest assessment is only fair . Not only for the owners of the chain, but for any future guest.

Staff was super welcoming & friendly on check-in. Room was really clean and housekeeping always did a really good job when cleaning when we asked! Breakfast had a lot of variety & overall was really delicious. Parking was also very nice. Rates for the rooms were very affordable and overall the amenities were really nice! Thank you to the staff at Hampton Inn! We had a reallt good time :)
