Hamsteels Hall | Other in Durham, England

“Lovely place to stay near Durham”

“Commensurate with the reasonable price this farm stay was lovely. We stayed in The Bull Pen, we had a spacious well equipped open plan living, kitchen and dining room with separate bathroom and bedroom.”

“We had a lovely stay at Hamsteels Hall in the Bull Pen. I don’t feel the photos do it justice as it looked better in real life. We had everything we needed for a short stay and it was in a peaceful location which was just what we were after.”

“Warm and cosy with everything we needed for a short stay. We would most definitely stay again.”

“Hamwheels self catering cottage where we took our own food and beds were very comfortable ”

“exelent stay lovely room fantastic host will stop again ”

“Wonderful place and concur with all the reviews except; the cleanliness of our room, the hen house. Webs and cobwebs all over the place, many occupied. I had to get the hoover in the bathroom to get rid of 5 big spiders, and their webs. The cobwebs all over the place have been there a long time. This wonderful place is seriously let down by unacceptably poor housekeeping. The windows, sills etc have accumulated so much filth; this is neglect. If you are afraid of spiders then don't come here as this will be your worst horror movie.”

“The property was not cleaned properly . Dirty microwave, cupboards. There was a strong odour in bathroom. A lot of the windows not cleaned with insects and dust. Lounge area ok”

“Property could have been great but sadly was a little tired and uncared for.”

“Have been here several times over the years cant fault the property”
