“If you are looking for an authentic experience this is the place to stay. Beautiful property, full of history. Room was superb and bed absolutely amazing. Wonderful bath with soft hot water. Excellent breakfast as ordered. Great Host. Would definitely stay again. If you dont mind exploring and checking yourself in/out without a receptionist this place is a must visit.”

“Great host but very difficult to find - entrance is unlit. Rooms are named but no names on doors. Bed is very high but comfortable. Jacuzzi bath was good but on inspection there was bad mould and or staining around taps and jets. Be aware the local pub is closed on Mondays. Breakfast was good and bacon was excellent.”
