Positive: What a great view!!! We knew we were going to be located close to the castle, but we didn’t realize how fabulous the location would be relative to other options nor that we’d have the best view!
There was plenty of parking and nice common areas in the hotel.

Positive:
The location was ideal for our activities. The breakfast buffet was good and staff were attentive.
Negative:
The room lacked comfort items, and the split beds are not my preference. The room location felt like a basement.
Summary: Old hotel in great location

Positive:
The location is superb with easy access to the Schloss Wartburg, and (downhill) to Eisenach. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
The room had a lovely view of the Wartburg Castle - beautiful.
Negative:
The car parking was ample, although certain guests were inconsiderate in taking up too much space - not the hotel’s fault. This could be alleviated by car parking was markings.
Summary: A really nice and relaxing place to say.
