“Chris and Victoria were great hosts, very accommodating for our late checkin and gave us a great welcome . Chris showed me to the parking space at the back of the property, which is a 30 seconds walk. The room was spotlessly clean , with tea , coffee and filtered water . The shower room is great , with lovely complimentary hand and shower gel . The breakfasts are lovely and freshly cooked , you fill a form the previous day for your fancies for breakfast and leave it at reception. On our last day we used the complimentary Spa facilities, which are an 8 minute drive away . Towels and a combination padlock are provided, by Chris & Victoria , and to be honest it’s quite a nice spa area with a lovely pool , with also a large gym . The beds are turned over every day, and tea, coffee , milk and filtered water replenished every day , with a nice chocolate left too . Would highly recommend this establishment, and Chris & Victoria are lovely hosts . Thank you both 🙏”

The room facilities were excellent.We couldn't have asked for more as every requirement was met. Our breakfasts, cooked to order, were delicious. A most enjoyable four night break.”

“What a fabulous place to stay in lovely Bowness on Windermere. Chris and Vicky are so friendly, they were so helpful and accomodating to any requests, communication prior to check in was superb. Our room was beautiful, a gorgeous view over Lake Windermere, wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, fab hot shower, really clean and comfortable. There were lovely little touches in our room and a delightful, delicious breakfast cooked fresh each morning. We couldn't rate this place highly enough, were sorry to be going home. We were left homemade mince pies, returned to our room after a day out exploring to find a Christmas present wrapped up for us with a card from Chris and Vicky, such a lovely thoughtful touch, really appreciated by us. It was our first stay here but it will not be our last. You are free to come and go as you please, with free parking provided at the rear of the property, a real bonus around the Lake District. Honestly loved our stay and can't thank the hosts enough. Thank you for looking after us so well both, we wish you every success and look forward to returning soon. Hayley and Dave”
