“This is an incredibly nice hotel with lots of interesting artifacts on display, an excellent conference room, nice continental breakfast, and very comfortable and spacious rooms. There are no elevators but there are only 2 floors. This may influence your decision whether to stay here if stairs are a problem for you. The staff members are articulate, very friendly and helpful. There is a local college at which many of the staff attend when not working at the hotel. The hotel offers snacks and drinks at reasonable prices and free hot coffee is available at all times. I would definitely stay here again. The local area is very pretty but amenities are lacking. The are very limited local restaurant choices and only pizza on Sundays. The pizza shop is actually very good and reasonably priced. I hear that the local Mexican restaurant is also good but closed on Sundays.”

“Excellent. Staff friendly and helpful, traditional home feel & clean. I loved the fact it had a tab and regular cable television, staples not typically included these days.”

“This hotel is nice and the staff are lovely. I ate breakfast one morning and didn’t the rest of my time. I wasn’t bad, at all, just small for a continental breakfast. I understand, however, that with food there is a significant cost increase. Be sure you understand, it is an older inn and the walls are thin and the floor is creaky. If you know this going in, you’ll be fine. Bed was LOVELY, staff were LOVELY, the town is LOVELY. My wish list would be a more expansive breakfast. All in all, wonderful place.”

“If you’re looking for a quaint and quiet place to stay, this is it. We needed a place to stay with our small pup and this was a very accommodating and welcoming option. They booked us on the 1st floor close to the door. The town is walkable to two restaurants and two coffee shops. We had to check out early, so the front desk was so kind to offer a breakfast option ready to go before the breakfast bar opened. The common room was very cozy with a fireplace going. Most of the guest were pretty polite with being quiet by 9:30-10pm. No road traffic noise either. I would stay here again! ”

“Very immaculate property. Comfortable lobby with fireplace that actually warms you. Spacious room and bath with nice furnishings and fixtures. Two negatives. The blinds only closed partway on the windows and the bright night lights by the bike trail shine in at night. Also the soundproofing needs improvement. I could hear both adjacent and across the hall guests in my room.”
