Hekimoğlu Hotel | Hotel in Erzurum City Center, Erzurum

Positive: Comfortable bed.

Negative: Wrongly advertised, no A/C, no drying rack, no carpet, no soundproofing. Shabby.

Positive: According to some reviews, I thought it would be worse. In fact, it's a normal low-budget hotel with great location and staff. I'd say for such price it's better than good. Yes, it's not very new, but also not extremely old, everything was in order, no problem with hot water and heating, which is important for local winter. I can also say it was quite clean (also saw a cleaning lady), the bed sheets had stains but no bugs were found and also it looked and smelled fresh (but for squeamish people you can take your own sheet). The towels were new and clean. The breakfast was simple, but good (bread, cheese, boiled eggs, tomatos & cucumbers, butter, jam, honey, tea). Also had one lunch at the local cafe and it was good (though not a big variety of dishes). But also there are many cafes and shops around. One of the main streets where lots of public transport stops is 5 min walk, so I didn't have to take taxi at all, in the buses you can pay with credit card, and the routes can be viewed in the local transport mobile app (if you want to go to Palandoken, Aziziye, main Bus station) Also all the major sights are walking distance from the hotel. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Also elevator works in the building.
